Worker found dead after explosion at Naples fireworks factory

ROME – A worker was found dead after an explosion rocked a fi reworks factory and sent a plume of smoke skyward in the province of Naples town of Roccarainola on July 6, sources said.

The massive blast caused a big cloud of smoke visible from a considerable distance. Firefighters and Carabinieri police were quickly dispatched to the scene. Rescuers initially reported that a worker was accounted for, but soon found the body of a 51-year-old employee under the rubble.
