UNICO Spreads Wealth in Sussex

REHOBOTH BEACH — UNICO Rehoboth Area has been very busy with fund-raising for local and national charities.

The Opera at the Beach event raised $1,245 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Penny and Jimmy Russo from New Jersey won a 10-day stay at Casa Giada, a B&B in Puglia, Italy, along with a $250 stipend. Additional charitable donations were made to the Italian Language Summer Camp scholarship fund and the Cooley’s Anemia/Thalassemia Foundation for research in support of a cure for victims of this disease.
