UNICO Delaware plans events around St. Joseph’s Day

Share

Donated food and baked goods fill the St. Joseph’s Table every year.

REHOBOTH BEACH – The weather has been unseasonably mild this year, yet families and individuals continue to be cold and hungry.

There are many organizations that are exceedingly generous during the holidays, but as the days grow shorter and the temperatures decline, we return to our daily routine and often forget those in need.

The director, Pierfrancesco DiLiberto, has included some actual facts in the “classified” information of the romantic comedy.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 (tax-deductible) and include a themed meal created by chef Joann Dell’Aversano. The screening will be introduced by University of Delaware professor Gabriella Finizio. The event is a fundraiser for the Delaware Italian Language Summer Camp.

Sponsors include the Delaware Italian-American Education Association, Delaware Commission on Italian Language and Culture, 1450 WILM Radio Italian, Rosa Food Products and Serpe & Sons Bakery.
