Prepare to laugh out loud! “La Famiglia” is a series of one-act plays that author Lorraine Ranalli describes as moment-in time scenarios based on her 2009 humorous narrative, “Gravy Wars: South Philly Foods, Feuds & Attytudes.” Family dynamics and stereotypical Italian-American idiosyncrasies are brought to life through the fictitious Scamorza family. It’s a fast-paced, comical look into a family of highly charged, strong yet loving personalities and their frequently outlandish behavior. Peer in the window of most any family and you’ll recognize the Scamorzas right away. You may even recognize yourself! Actress Natalie Stone, hot off her performance in “Not For Nothing” which premiered at the Philadelphia Film Festival in October, stars as Gina in La Famiglia. Enjoy a great Italian meal with friends and family at this delightful show! (Jan. 21-22, St. Mary of the Lakes School, 196 New Jersey 70, Medford, N.J., allevents.in/medford/la-famiglia-a-trilogy-of-one-act-plays-dinner-theatre/10000467160398327)

This award-winning series will feature live transmissions of 10 spectacular productions. Join them for “Fedora,” Umberto Giordano’s exhilarating drama, which returns to the Met repertory for the first time in 25 years. (Jan. 23-24, Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Drive, Lewes, Del., rehobothfilm.com/event/cinema-art-theater-this-week)

The Black Tie Tailgate is back! Get ready for Philly’s best philanthropic preview party! Dine and dance the night away while enjoying a one-of-a-kind display floor at the 2023 Philadelphia Auto Show.
