Renowned Italian chef appearing at local bistro for one-night event

WILMINGTON, Del. – Chef Celso Laforgia, famous for his appearance on “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy,” will be in town Dec. 7 to work his culinary magic at V&M Bistro, 1717 Marsh Road.

The prix fixe dinner showcases three exquisite courses paired with remarkable wine selections from the Puglia region of Italy.

Diners can watch a live demonstration on Laforgia’s signature dish, Spaghetti all’Assassina.

“The dish is simple, but the technique takes years to master,” Laforgia said.

Tucci said of Laforgia: “Celso’s cooking method goes against everything I Know about cooking pasta.”
