ROME – Italy has the world’s joint second most powerful passport behind Singapore, according to the 2024 Henley Passport Index.
The passport of the Asian city State gives access without a prior visa to 195 travel destinations out of 227 around the world, according to the index, which is based data from the International Air Transport Association.
Italy’s passport came second with 192 visa-free destinations along with those of France, Germany, Japan and Spain.
