NOTTINGHAM, Pa. – Pennsylvania snack maker Herr Foods has introduced three new limited-time flavors inspired by Philadelphia businesses, and is asking consumers to vote for their favorite variety.

The chip maker received more than 1,000 suggestions for this year’s Flavored by Philly contest, and narrowed the field to three flavors:

  • Talluto’s: Cheese Ravioli and Marinara – The pasta maker presents a mouthwatering combination of cheese ravioli and bright marinara sauce.
  • Mom Mom’s Kitchen: Potato Pierogi – Mom Mom’s Kitchen presents a delightful blend of sweet, creamy, and tangy flavors with its signature potato pierogi.
  • Romano’s Stromboli: Special Hot Stromboli – Romano’s Stromboli, a Philadelphia institution since 1950, offers a savory fusion of cheese, heat, and tradition, encapsulating the essence of the city.

The chip maker received more than 1,000 suggestions, and narrowed the field to three flavors.

“It was a challenging decision to narrow down to just three finalists, but we’re huge fans of these three offerings and can’t wait to hear the public’s reaction to the flavor combination of these signature dishes with our chips,” said Herr’s CEO Ed Herr.

Potato chip lovers are invited to sample the new flavors and vote for their favorite.  The individual who nominated the winning flavor will receive a $5,000 prize, while the small business behind the flavor will win $10,000.

The new flavors are available at major retailers. The promotion runs June 17 through Aug. 9. For more information about Herr’s and to cast a vote, visit herrs.com.
