You will be accompanied by a private tour guide in Florence for a walking tour including visiting the magnificent Florence Cathedral or Duomo, 700-year-old Giotto Bell Tower, Palazzo Della Signoria, home to the Medici family, Piazza della Repubblica, San Lorenzo Market, and the Accademia Gallery Museum that houses the famous statue of David. Museum visits include also the Uffizi Gallery with its Medici collection of priceless art. You will then spend a night in Cortona, a beautiful Etruscan town with its famous Tuscan-style buildings. A private driver then takes you to the Renaissance town of Pienza where you will taste the famous Pecorino cheese and later wine in a unique winery in Montalcino. Other towns visited with private tour guides include Siena where the famous Palo horse race takes place during the summer, and San Gimignano, a World Heritage Site, also known as the town of the Medieval Towers.
