Delco Press Club Ethnic Media Panel

The Delaware County Press Club will host a luncheon with panel discussion on “The Role of Ethnic Media” on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the Springhaven Club, 600 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, Pa.

Peg DeGrassa, senior editor, Delco News Network, will moderate a panel of journalists who will discuss the importance of ethnic media and the valuable resources they provide to their communities.

Panelists include associate publisher Barbara Ann Zippi-Och, Delaware Valley Italian American Herald; CEO and publisher Aphrodite Kotrotsios; Hellenic News of America; Fionnuala Boyle, Pennsylvania correspondent, Irish Star US: The Voice of Irish America; and representatives from The Philadelphia Tribune, the nation’s oldest continuously published newspaper reflecting the African American experience, and Impacto Media, a Latino focused publication.

Panelists will take questions following their remarks.

Press Club events are open to the public. The cost for the buffet luncheon program is $35 for members and $40 for guests and walk-ins. As a courtesy to the venue, reservations are recommended but guests may also pay by cash, check, or credit card at the door.
