The Delaware County Press Club’s annual Holiday Luncheon returns on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Fava Ristorante Italiano, with special guest speaker, celebrity biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli.
Taraborrelli will discuss his writing career and introduce his latest biography, a New York Times Bestseller, “Jackie: Public, Private, Secret.” The private life of Jackie Kennedy Onassis isn’t private anymore as Taraborrelli has uncovered what many of Jackie’s admirers may find surprising or even shocking. Taraborrelli writes about the intimate relationship Jackie had with Jack Warnecke, an old flame before she married John F. Kennedy, a romance that began within a year of JFK’s assassination and ended when Warnecke told her he was $1million in debt.
Also appearing is Tommy C., The Voice of Tribute. Tommy will be performing selections from his Christmas album, “Christmastime is Here.”
The Holiday Luncheon will also feature the Press Club’s gift basket raffle, the Club’s only fundraiser. Attendees may purchase tickets for chances on gifts including restaurant gift cards, personal services, entertainment, artwork, books, Cheer basket, and more. Proceeds from the raffle fund the Press Club Annual Award for Excellence in Communications, providing financial assistance to a student majoring in communications at one of ten colleges and universities in the Greater Delaware County area.
All Press Club events are open to the public. Tickets for the Holiday Luncheon are $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers and walk-ins. Reservations are recommended but guests may also pay by cash, check, or credit card at the door.
