The 27th Annual FirstGlance Film Festival, Philadelphia’s longest-running competitive indie film festival where audiences vote for “Best of the Fest,” returns to the Film Society Bourse, 400 Ranstead Street, Philadelphia, Pa., Thursday, September 26, 2024 through Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Festival-goers can enjoy more than forty new curated independent films from professional, emerging, and student filmmakers including fifteen with ties to the Philadelphia region; Philadelphia, U.S., and world premieres; genres that include sci-fi, comedy, drama, horror, thrillers, and more; subject matter from criminal justice reform, LGBTQ+, mental health issues, and others; filmmaker interviews on the red-carpet; networking and after parties with casts and crews at the Society Hill Hotel and The Plough & The Stars; and a live awards ceremony with voice-over by award-winning director/filmmaker and FirstGlance alum Raphael Sbarge from the TV series “Once Upon a Time.”
Single ticket prices are $20. All Access passes are $150.
