Eagles coach and security officer honored

Philadelphia Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni and Dom DiSandro, the Chief Security Officer and Senior Advisor to the General Manager of the Eagles, were guests of honor at the National Italian American Federation’s third annual Testimonial Dinner on May 22 at the Union League of Philadelphia. Each man received the NIAF Jerry Colangelo Sports Excellence Award.

Sirianni guided the Eagles to the Super Bowl in just two years as coach. DiSandro has worked behind the scenes for 25 years and has been integral to the team’s success. Dick Vermeil, former Eagles head coach, hailed Sirianni, saying, “Nick has done an unbelievable job taking his football team to the Super Bowl in two years – what an amazing accomplishment. It just magnifies the quality of a coach he is and as he moves forward, he will win more games.”
