The hit show “Italian Bred” comes to the stage in Wilmington for two shows March 7.
The comedy, starring Candice Guardino, comes to life at 2 and 8 p.m., at the Baby Grand, 818 N. Market St.
The story is derived from Guardino’s own memories, as she remembers growing up Italian on Staten Island, New York.
Guardino slips in and out of various family characters while telling stories, singing and sharing the stage with “virtual” cameo appearances by Steve Schirripa from “Blue Bloods,” Mario Cantone from “Sex and the City,” Leslie Jordan from “Will and Grace” and Vic Dibetetto from “Mall Cop 2.”
Before coming to Wilmington, “Italian Bred” garnered enthusiastic reviews and played to sold-out audiences in Pennsylvania, Florida, New Jersey, New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
