Carman dealership rolls out mobile service for Fords and Lincolns

Share

Carman Ford and Carman Lincoln now offers Mobile Service, where technicians drive specially equipped vehicles to perform automotive service at the customers’ location.

The dealer group, owned by Larry Giacchino, has invested $100,000 in two vans (one for Lincoln, one for Ford) and the required equipment for the mobile service.

While Ford and Lincoln divisions mandated Mobile Service in January, Carman activated the program last summer, making it one of the few dealers in New Castle County to offer the service.

Both vehicles are equipped for on-location oil changes, filter replacement, wiper blade replacement, brake pads and rotor replacement, battery replacement, and flat tire repair. The Carman Mobile Service vans can also accommodate most manufacturer recalls.

Carman Auto Group was founded in 1973 by Carmen Giacchino as a Lincoln- Mercury dealership in New Castle.

Carman is celebrating 51 years serving New Castle County. Dan Giacchino, Joe Giacchino and Brian Giacchino have joined their father in the business.

The dealership also sells and services Jeep, Chrysler, Ram and Dodge in a separate showroom not far from the flagship location on South Du Pont Highway.
