Broadcaster Sal Paolantonio honored

Delaware Commission on Italian Heritage and Culture Chairman Rick DiLiberto was a Delaware delegate at UNICO National’s Annual Conference in Princeton, N.J., in July, where he congratulated Sal Paolantonio, ESPN’s national correspondent and host of NFL Matchup Show, on receiving UNICO’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Journalism & Broadcasting Excellence. DiLiberto is one of 15 national trustees of UNICO Foundation, which administers charitable, scientific, educational, and literary gifts, including for Cancer Research and Prevention, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Cooley’s Anemia, mental health organizations, food banks, homeless shelters, student scholarships, and Italian studies.
