Italian-American Herald
Barbara Ann Zippi-Och has been named associate publisher of Delaware Valley Italian- American Herald, according to Rob Martinelli, editor, publisher, and president of Today Media.
Zippi has more than 40 years’ experience as a public relations and marketing professional. She is a long-standing member and past president of The Press Club. Zippi has been associated with ARTEMIS Productions, Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA), Al Alberts Showcase, Broadcast Pioneers and most recently Ciao Bella Living Italian Style. She has been hosting cultural trips to Italy and sharing Italian news through her monthly “Ciao Bella Living Italian Style” page in the Herald.
“My goal is to support the Italian-American Herald mission of preserving Italian heritage, culture and traditions in the Delaware Valley,” said Zippi. “I thank Rob Martinelli for allowing me this groundbreaking opportunity as a woman in the ethnic publishing industry.” With roots in the Abruzzo region of Italy, Zippi looks forward to expanding the publication’s social media presence and
outreach to younger readers to help expand readership. She also looks forward to developing features that will benefit Italian professionals, businesses, restaurants and nonprofit organizations in the tri-state region of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
