REHOBOTH BEACH – Adrianna Hahn, a basketball superstar from Ursuline Academy and Villanova University, will be the keynote speaker at the ninth annual Brian Piccolo Award Ceremony and Dinner at 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at St. Edmond Parish Hall.
In her high school years, Hahn won two state championships, four all-time Delaware Player of the Year Awards, three Gatorade Player of the Year Awards, and earned many scholarships to play at Division 1 universities. Wanting to stay close to home, she chose Villanova and pursued a degree in communications and marketing. She moved on to graduate school for digital media studies.
Hahn finished her career as an all-time top 10 scorer, Villanova’s all-time 3-point record holder, and Big East all-time 3-point record holder. In her basketball career she overcame several serious knee injuries and a six-month recovery period. She is now a successful coach and businesswoman with her own basketball training camps, Hahn Hopps.
Tickets ($25 each) for the Brian Piccolo Award Dinner can be purchased by contacting unicodelawaredistrict1@gmail.com or calling (302) 226-0620.
