“Jazz Age Illustration” is the first major exhibition to survey the art of popular illustration in the United States between 1919 and 1942. The exhibition includes more than 100 works of art and dozens of publications by prominent artists. There’s a Gallery Talk on Jan. 16 and when you’re
in the museum’s neighborhood, keep your eyes open for Jazz Around Town, striking murals highlighting works from “Jazz Age Illustration.” (Through Jan. 26, Delaware Art Museum, 2301 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, Del., delart.org/series/year-of-the-illustrator)
